What’s the next step?

When you contact us we will arrange a survey of your home to establish your requirements.
Information is gathered as to the type of stairs, the condition of the wall, and the ability of the wall to support a person’s weight safely as her of she uses the sStairSteady.

An exact quote will then be supplied in writing to you along with an order form.  After you return the order form we require half of the total cost before the work can proceed.  The outstanding balance can be paid when the StairSteady® is installed.

Is there a guarantee?

Once your StairSteady® is installed by our qualified fitter it is guaranteed for two years (subject to normal wear and tear).  The StairSteady®  is designed and manufactured in Shefflied to internationally recognised quality standard ISO 9000.  It is professionally installed by our fully trained and fully insured fitters in just a few hours.  

Is there anything else I need to know?

The price quoted for your StairSteady®is for a standard steel rail and handle in a cream or white colours. A range of handles and alternative colours are available at an additional cost.

Grant information

All the information on the Mobility Aids Grant Scheme and the Housing Adaptation Grant for People with a Disability is available on www.citizensinformation.ie.
The Mobility Aids Grant Scheme provides grants for works designed to address mobility problems in the home. For example, the grant can be used for the purchase and installation of grab-rails, a level access shower, access ramps or a stair lift. The grant is primarily for older people but people with disability can also access the scheme.
Means Test
The Mobility Aids Grant Scheme is a means-tested grant.  This means your total household income is assessed to find out if you qualify for the grant and at what level of assistance. The maximum grant available will be €6,000 and may cover 100% of the cost of the work.
